UHF/NFC labels

SCT101 Series

smart-CapTag dual frequency UHF & NFC in actionBased on a dual frequency NFC/UHF chip (EM4425) SCT101 is a multi-functional label designed to fit a wide range of wine bottle types.

A single, unique electronic identity in each HF & UHF register with an identical 96-bit TID ensures full product traceability.

Features

  • Supports ISO/IEC15693, NFC Type 5 specifications at 13.56MHz and all RAIN compliant Gen 2 and Gen2X readers
  • The tamper loop breaks at the capsule split point for screw cap bottles
  • For corked bottles, either at the capsule split point or when the top roundel at the top of the bottle is punctured e.g. with a corkscrew

Note: These Class 1 anti-tamper designs are future proof as they will work effectively for Class 2 Tamper chips, when commercially available.

Benefits

  • A combination of functions on a single bottle label – consumer engagement, authenticity and long range inventory management
  • The UHF antenna facilitates high speed NFC encoding
  • An on-metal option is available

Note: Owing to the wide variety of bottles types available, especially for liquors, CapTag can design bespoke RFID inlays with anti-tamper loops and NFC antennas.

Our rapid prototyping capability ensures a fast turn-around.
